Government initiates anti-dumping probe on saccharin imports from China

The Directorate General of Anti-Dumping & Allied Duties in the Ministry of Commerce & Industry has initiated anti-dumping investigations on imports of saccharin originating in or exported from China.This follows a representation filed by A.S.Enterprises (Mumbai); Swati Petrochemicals R Ltd.(Thane); and Shree Vardhyani Chemical Industrial R Ltd.(Gujarat),on behalf of the domestic industry,alleging dumping of saccharin by China.
