Lead,Tin and Zinc go down;Copper stocks in the international market near 17-year low on heavy buying

In the domestic market Lead went down by Rs.1 to rule at Rs.53 while tin and zinc both were down by Rs.3.Tin was quoted at Rs.462 and Zinc at Rs.82.Stocks of copper on the London Metal Exchange have fallen 12% from the start of the week to near a 17-year low as merchants take advantage of lower prices to fill long-term needs,dealers said.On Friday,exchange stocks of Copper stood at 44,625 tonnes versus 50,850 on Monday.Levels are approaching January 26th's near-17-year low of 43,750 tonnes.
