Indian footwear makers seek rubber import duty cut to ease prices

The Indian footwear industry has asked the government to lower import duty on rubber to help bring down prices of natural rubber."Import duty should be brought down to 10% from the current level of 20%,else prices would go up further," the Indian Footwear Manufacturers' Association (IFMA) said.
