A DC voltage source with a semi-controlled rectifier and a choke on the AC side

A d.c. voltage source is considered, which have considerable advantages in terms of its dimensions and efficiency. An analytical description of steady-state operating conditions and the condition for asymptotic stability of this source are obtained. Techniques for calculating steady-state and dynamic operating conditions are proposed. The example of calculation and physical simulations demonstrate that the source can provide an output voltage having a sufficient quality.
