Relay protection of power lines during glaze melting

摘要

For multi-conductor circuits of glaze melting using a single-phase alternating current a ground fault relay protection is proposed based on a transverse-longitudinal differential principle. The operation of this protection is analysed and the formulae are derived for determining the fault location using the currents in the protection during its action.
