摘要

The influence of mechanical activation b); processing smooth is rolls on dispersion kinetics of chromium carbide powder and its mixtures with nickel in a ball mill has been studied. It was demonstrated that preliminary double rolling of chromium carbide powder in a rolling mill accelerates the ball mill particle grinding down to 1.4-1.5 μm in 4.6 times as compared with unrolled powder. In this case the grade of size reduction increases from 36 to 91 per unit values. The average particle diameter of powders and powder mixtures decreases exponentially as the milling time is extended from 12 to 84 hours.
