摘要

Use of static frequency converters for reversible diesel-generator start is a way to substantially increase efficiency and enhance applicability range of electric engine starting, because the technology in question eliminates a need for electric starter, and is less demanding to characteristics of autonomous power supply (accumulator battery). Static frequency converters are widely used in numerous industrial applications in conjunction with induction and synchronous electric drives However, frequency diesel-generator starting method was not actually given any detailed consideration as yet.
