The temperature operation conditions of the roller conveyer rolls in reduction shop of Chelyabinsk integrated iron-and-steel works

Rolls temperatures of roller conveyer on blooming mill 1250 and continuous-billet mill 900/700/500 in roughing shop of Chelyabinsk integrated iron-and-steel works are measured. Measurement results on a barrel in contact zone with solid-forged and hollow (of tubes) rolls with external and internal cooling as well as without cool mg are given. Considerable influence of cooling on rollers temperature especially external cooling is shown. For different rollers types at different cooling methods barrel, collar and supplied and outgoing water temperatures are given.
