Nature of ecologically clean dry electrostatic cutting tools cooling technology and design features of ionizing plant are described. Results of comparative production tests which disclose influence of cooling methods at hobbing on controllable technological parameters of gears and hobs life are given. Examples of the new cooling method putting into production are shown.
