摘要

Peculiarities of drop heat- and mass transfer of remelted metal in the process of its refining were considered. Two qualitatively different cases of electroslag treatment were investigated. In the first case the sources of maximum heat releasewere removed from the place of drop formation, and in the second case they were located near the consumable electrode, which increases the efficiency of chemical reactions. Besides, in this case a full time of the interaction between the slag and metalis, at least, 1,5 times longer, than in the first one. It is possible to increase the level of refining by the selection of the special methods of effect with consideration for aforementioned mechanisms.
