Experimental investigation of fields of residual stresses in welded and rolled I-joints

摘要

Stress-strain state of I-beams was determined on the basis of experimental data. The method for pre-stressing of I-beams by local thermal effects is suggested. The method makes it possible to increase load-carrying capacity of compressed I-beam rods and improve structure of steel in the HAZ formed in manufacture of welded I-beams.
