摘要

In this paper, an autonomous algorithm for adaptive frequency reuse scheme in the downlink of OFDMA based cellular networks is proposed. Each cell is divided into two regions, namely, inner and outer regions. The proposed autonomous algorithm is based on minimizing the total interference at all users in every region. The main advantage of the proposed model is that it adapts to channel conditions of the network. Simulation results show that the proposed model provides better performance than that of the fractional frequency reuse (FFR), in terms of both total system throughput and average user bit rate.
