摘要

Resistive-type wave absorbers are fabricated by using a frequency selective surface (FSS) for millimeter-wave frequency at 60GHz (V-band) and 76GHz (W- band). The good shield and absorption characteristics are. obtained at V and W bands for the vertical incidence. In addition, the absorption characteristics of each absorber are measured under the condition that the incident angle is changed. The difference between calculated and measured results appeared by the transmission line theory using the equivalent circuit under the condition that the reflector is assumed to be the metal plate. However the absorption of 20dB or more is obtained at 60GHz ujider the incident angle ranging from 5 to 40 degrees. As for 76GHz band version, the absorption of 20dB or more is also achieved under the incident angle ranging from 5 to 45 degrees. As a result, comparatively wide angle characteristics were obtained by the millimeter-wave absorbers using FSS.
