摘要

This paper studies a static task mapping algorithm with dynamic task switching for embedded many-core SoCs. The task mapping technique proposed in this paper takes into account both inter-application and intra-application parallelisms in order to fully utilize the potential parallelism of the many-core architecture. We set a limit to the pair of cores that a single task can be mapped on in the previous research. In this research, we extend the previous technique to make the mapping pattern have variety and improve the mapping results. We evaluate the mapping results obtained by proposed technique by comparing them with those of existing technique which is based on LLP.
