摘要

Thermal conductivity at about 85 K, #kappa#, andresistivity at liquid nitrogen temperature (LN), #rho#_(LN), of aTi-15 mass percentV-3 mass percentCr-3 mass percentSn-3mass percent Al (Ti-15-3) alloy in variously aged states weremeasured by steady state method and direct current 4-contactsmethod, respectively. Thermal conductivity at room temperature(RT) and about 85 K of the Ti-15-3 alloy specimens quenchedfrom 1073 K was smaller than that of other titanium alloys andSUS304 stainless steel. Thermal conductivity at about 85 K wasincreased by accumulative isochronal aging (step heating) up to823 K and by isothermal aging at 773 K, while resistivity at LNdecreased with the aging. The increase and the decrease wereascribed to #alpha# precipitation. All values of thermalconductivity measured in the aged Ti-15-3 alloy were about ahalf of that of SUS304 stainless steel. Relationship betweenthermal conductivity at about 85 K and the average measuringtemperature in steady state divided by the resistivity at LN wasalmost linear, and regressed equation was #kappa#=0.11(#rho#_(LN)~(-1)T)-1.60, where the units are W centre dot m~(-1) centre dot K~(-1) for #kappa#, #mu# #OMEGA# centre dotm for #rho#_(LN) and K for T.
