摘要

We measured the time transient of the magnetic field from magnetic recording heads by using an electron beam tomography system. The relationship between the magnetic field transition and the current transition was investigated. In a head with a low-resistivity (20#mu##OMEGA#cm) Ni_(80)Fe_(20) core, an eddy current delayed the magnetic field transition. In the case of a high-resistivity (40#mu##OMEGA#cm) Ni_(45)Fe_(55) core head, the magnetic field transition almost followed the current transition. In this head, the magnetic field transition time decreased with decreasing current rise time.
