摘要

By means of metallography method and electromagnetic and mechanical properties measurements, a comparative analysis of the effect of H_2 and N_2 + 4 percent H_2 gas mixture on the process of Fe-P powder sintering has been carried out. When the sintering is conducted in nitrogen gas mixture, the strength, hardness and coercive force values of the sintered materials are found to be increased due to nitrogen dilution, most likely. Alloying of iron with phosphorus suppresses a nitrogen effect on the material properties.
