Health Effects of Indoor Air Pollutants and Air Quality Guidelines

摘要

This paper is intended to give guidance on how to set air quality guideline values to prevent adverse health effects from the exposure to indoor air pollutants. To produce guideline values with a high probability of offering safety, one would need a detailed knowledge of dose-response relationships, exposure assessment, and definition of adverse health effects. Scientific judgment and consensus play an important role in establishing guideline values.
