Food allergy: better education of restaurant staff is neededWe reported in February a study pointing out the challenges faced by food allergic individuals when they want to eat out and the strategies they took to minimize risk [l]. In this issue, a questionnaire-based study from Bailey and colleagues (pp. 713-717) addresses the other perspective, that of the food provider; in this case restaurant staff. It is well recognized that eating out is a significant risk factor for food allergic reactions [2].
