Studies were carried out in Russia in 1994 on specific characteristics in the inheritance of resistance to pathotype 16/11/31 of Plasmodiophora brassicae in in compatible lines of kale in the system of full diallel crossings and in F2, BC11 and BC21progenies. Variations between the lines with respect to common combining ability were mainly determined by recessive genes. In the line MSK 2-1, resistance was controlled by one recessive gene, while in MSK 1-2 it was controlled by two. When producing lines of P. brassicae-resistant kale, use of the incompatible lines MSK 2-1, MSK 1-2 and ChShK 1-1 is recommended.
