摘要

In this paper, we propose borehole radar with E-field sensors using optical modulators for 3-D imaging of targets. In subsurface measurement, obtaining 3-D image of targets such as fractures, fault and underground water is an important subject. We have developed borehole radar system with array of the E-field sensors. Since small space available for array in a borehole cause poor resolution in estimation of direction of arrival, we introduced the MUSIC algorithm to estimation of target location. And, we included the effect of inhomogeneity, which is caused by boreholes, in the estimation, using MoM. The experimental results showed that we can estimate 3-D position of a cave using the developed radar and the algorithm.
