Moving toward the new era, based on the great progress in biotechnology and the miniaturization techniques in engineering, the development on the technology of lab on a chip becomes one of the most important subjects for the multi-discipline integration. In this text, it is to introduce the application of the micro-optic system techniques for the function of the signal detection on the chip. Especially, it will focus on the basic light source modeling.
