Since the Petawatt Laser(PWL) had been constructed at the end of 2000, we have been testing and brushing up on the laser through the two campaign series, IX-3 and IX-04. The campaign experiments are for the fast ignition and heating of highly imploded core plasmas. Therefore, interests are concentrated mainly on the beam quality related to the focusing and on the beam synchronization with the GEKKO XII imploding beams. Listed up here are the main achievements as for the Petawatt Laser output.
