A study of mutual authentication method for ubiquitous network environments

摘要

The ubiquitous network environments are expected to realize seamless services regardless of access networks, various terminals, and location area for all users. However, the ubiquitous network is not always guaranteed for security just like the existing carrier network does, so that authentication mechanism is prerequisite function on communication between difference access network nodes. If we apply the existing authentication mechanism to the ubiquitous network, a lot of problems will generate from the security and scalability points of view. In this paper, we propose mutual authentication method whose purpose is realized for high-security and high-scalability using simple mechanism. And we simulate our proposal method and identify its validity.
