Implementation of An Emerging Service in GMPLS based Wavelength-Routed Mesh Networks: The Users-Oriented Ring GRID Networks

摘要

To verify the possibility of new services that support the emerging large-scale distributed computing applications such as GRID computing we propose a smart and flexible distributed optical network control scheme for optical ring GRID network configuration in GMPLS based networks. Experiments done on a test-bed confirm that with our optical ring GRID network construction protocol, the users-oriented optical ring GRIDs can be established effectively in a dynamically changing environment.
