ALUMOFLUORIDES OF ZHARCHIKHINSKOYE MOLIBDENUM DEPOSIT (WESTERN TRANSBAIKALIA)

Infrequent alumofluorides have been found out in large quantity at the Zharchikhinskoye molibdenum deposit. The mineralization is located there within a tubular body of eruptive and explosive breccias. Alumofluoride association relates to the final stage of the ore forming process, where it made a paragenesis with quartz, galena, sphalerite, fluorite, siderite and dickite. The alumofluorides are presented by prosopite, ralstonite and gearksutite, the first two of them are considered as rare and even very rare mineral species.
