摘要

A method for predicting J{sub}R -curves for reactor pressure-vessel steels is presented. We propose a procedure for determining the parameters of a ductile fracture model from the results of testing smooth and notched cylindrical specimens. The stress and strain fields at the tip of a stationary and propagating crack have been investigated with the finite-element method. The predicted J{sub}R -curves have been compared with experimental data obtained on 2T-CT specimens made from 15Kh2NMFA-A reactor pressure-vessel steel in the initial and embrittled state.
