A preciser measurement method for the trave time difference with acoustic reciprocal transmission

In this paper, we present the stability estimation results of the data collected during the sound transmission experiment by Japan Marine Science and Technology Center (JAMSTEC) in 1999 at the Central Equatorial Pacific. The acoustic signal is very stabel within 130 5. Since the phase of a ray signal is very stable, the precision of the travel-time difference is higher 5 times (0.1 ms) than the conventional estimation.
