Ocean monitoring by using inverted echosounder technical report

摘要

Current velocity can be measured from the difference of sound wave traveling time between two points. An acoustical system has been in order to measure volume transport has been investigated by authors. A pop-up XBT system has been newly developed by authors. Acoustical measurements of heat content of sea water and heat transport of ocean current was by combining above two systems, and a sea test was carried out.
