Worldwide, ageing societies are facing challenges for independent living and for adequate health care (e.g. [1], pp. 3-6). Information technology for ambient-assisted living [2] and pervasive health care [3,4] offers opportunities for new ways of living and new ways of care [5]. Health-enabling technologies [6] can be applied in home environments [7] or at a person's body [8]. With respect to a person's health status they can be used for prediction [9,10], for tele-training [11], or for observing activities [12], just to mention some few examples.
