Refractories and Installation Methods for Stoker Type Incinerators

At present, among many types the stoker fired furnace is the most widely used for refuse incineration owing to its field-proven performance. It is being developed for its good qualities of high-efficiency power generation and dioxin emission reduction. New refractories fitted to furnace use conditions and environment-friendly installation methods are also being developed. We review recent refractories and their installation methods for the stoker type incinerator.
