摘要

Results are presented of investigation of the structure and mechanical properties of forgings and pipes made of titanium ingots, produced by electron beam melting. It is found that the degree of the titanium ingot forging reduction in fabrication of forgings and rods should be not less than six. Technology of fabrication of hot-pressed pipes directly of a cast titanium billet of 200 mm diameter is proposed and a high quality of the produced items is demonstrated.
