摘要

In order to accurately predict pressure signal propagation through missile structures and inner components upon impact to target, component-level modeling of a missile was performed using a commercial hydrocode AUTO-DYN. Complex 3D configuration was converted to an equivalent 2D simple geometry, maintaining its shape and shock impedance characteristics as closely as possible. High strain-rate deformation of the structures and acceleration at the impact sensor were obtained from the numerical simulation. The computation was compared and confirmed with the gas gun impact test.
