Effect of genotype on productivity in young fattening pigs.

摘要

Two different types of diet: complete and deficient in protein were tested on 8 groups of 20 pigs each during 2 fattening periods: 40-70 kg and 71-200 kg. Pigs in 4 control groups were Large White breed whereas pigs in the remaining 4 groups were fast growing meat breed type. The composition of two diets and productivity figures for all 8 groups are tabulated.
