摘要

Technological scheme used at "Severonikel"' works includes copper concentrate roasting with involvement of converter dusts in KS furnaces and with directing the forming gases in sulfuric acid production; cinder leaching with acidic wasted electrolyte; copper electric extraction; leaching remainder processing in operating facilities. The experience of designing and operating the technology of copper production from the concentrate, starting from flotating separation ~matte, displayed possibility of successful realization of "roasting-leaching-electric extraction" technological scheme applied to the complex copper raw material. The main elements of this technology were realized for the first time in Russia in the industrial scale. In this case, sulphur dioxide utilization degree increased from 58 to 70 percent in the metallurgical shop.
