The necessity and sufficiency of the functional - target approach to the analysis and synthesis of models of control systems of complicated integrated industrial complexes (IIC) are grounded. The general model of IIC is based on formalization oftypical activity of the designers of control systems for IIC as process of purposeful supplement and modification of a knowledge base.
