Application of wavelet-transform for signal analysis while inspecting steel wire ropes

摘要

The application of wavelet transformation for signal analysis while inspecting steel wire ropes by nondestructive electromagnetic method is described. Two methods of wavelet transformation analysis are described. Three different basic wavelet functions are compared in their effectiveness for solving of the stated problem.
