On-Line Adjustment of the Minimum Shut Height of Hot-Stamping Crank Presses

There are found patterns of influence of preform and dies temperature changes and the distance between dies on the stamping force and the preform height. On the base of these patterns, four versions of on-line stepping adjustment of the minimum shut height of hot-stamping crank presses are offered. Periodic stepping sub-adjustment of the press with respect to preform and dies temperature values is shown to ensure significant improvement of stamped parts height accuracy.
