摘要

High environmental demands necessitates the development of the new binders with high carbon residual which make it possible to avoid liberation of toxic and carcinogen compound upon their heat treatment, technological properties of the bindersbeing the same . A possibility of using thermoreactive polymer binder on the base of resorcinol oligomer for nonfired carbon periclase refractories is shown . A binder is soluble in water and organic solvents and possesses high carbon residual(>60%). Thesample of carbon periclase refractories containing 5-12% of graphite that were manufactured using the developed binder exhibited high ceramic and mechanical properties
