摘要

An electron beam welder which can be used undermicrogravity environment was successfully developed. Weldingphenomena of Al alloys whose surface was exposed to atomicoxygen was observed using the drop shaft facility which supplies10 seconds microgravity environment. It was observed that largeblow holes generated by a reaction between liquid aluminum andalumina were formed during welding. Liquid pool was molten down also observed.
