Thermal power plants occupy a fairly high percentage in power generating plants. More than half of these are aged, and still play a very important role in power generation. These are well maintained and their lives are extended by time basedinspections and life assessment technologies. In this report. the maintenance technologies are briefly described for the main components of thermal power plants. boilers and turbines.
