Heat Analysis in Waste Incinerator and Ash Melting Furnace

Numerical analysis was carried out to estimate the heat transfer characteristics of the furnace during the design or development of the rotary combustor type incinerator and incineration ash melting furnace that are supplied for municipal and industrial waste treatment. In the rotary combustor type incinerator, estimation of the fire grate temperature distribution is needed to predict the life of the furnace, and estimation of melting capacity is needed for the ash melting furnace. The analytical results agreed well with experiment results, confirming that the model is adequate for the analysis method.
