摘要

The relationship between the microstructure and the mechanical properties of plasma-sprayed 50Cr-50Ni coatings were investigated, and the prediction of mechanical properties from the microstructure of the sprayed layer became possible. The results obtained were as follows:(1)The spray condition effect on the microstructure of the plasma-sprayed layer remarkably. When spray distance is short, plasma arc current is low, and the flow of the primary plasma gas argon is large, so there are many non-melted spray particles andmany porosities remaining in the sprayed layer.(2) With the increased porosity in plasma-sprayed layer, hardness of the sprayed layer becomes lower and the abrasive wear becomes larger.
