Effects of hypotony after glaucoma surgery on macular thickness and morphology as measured by optical coherence tomography

Purpose: To evaluate changes in macular thickness and morphology as measured by OCT in the diagnosis and follow-up of patients with hypotony after filtration surgery. Patients and methods: Patients with hypotony after glaucoma surgery (lOP < 6 for more than 2 months) were examined and optical coherence tomography (OCT) used to measure macular thickness and to assess macular morphology in hypotony and post intervention. Patients with macular pathology due to other reasons were excluded.
