摘要

The rising concern towards environmental issues has led to increasing interest about polymer composites filled with natural fibers. Jute fibers are natural fiber superior on light weight, low cost and environmental friendly corresponding to the green composite materials. Jute fiber reinforced polylactic acid (PLA) resin has been made with good impregnation quality and mechanical properties using compression of micro-braided yarns. Pultrusion process is continuous production techniques of the composite with constant cross-section. The manufacturing of tubular bio-composite using jute fibers and PLA resin by pultrusion molding was investigated in the previous study. The parallel configuration of yarn showed good impregnation.
