Giant cell arteritis

摘要

The Perspective article by Carroll et al. in the present issue of the journal reviews in detail our present state of understanding and lack thereof with regard to giant cell arteritis (GCA). Although this disease has been described for centuries, we still do not have the critical information that would allow us to identify a specific cause and to deliver a targeted treatment.
