The automated gas risk monitoring, prediction and alarm system for a hazardous chemical plant

The necessity of application at hazardous chemical plants of local automated gas risk rnonitoring prediction and alarm systems connected with the civil defense and emergency system is analytically substantiated. The structure of system hardware is described; its main functions are defined. The software structure realized. in the Windows 3,1 environment for an IBM PC-compatible computer is also presented. Comparative features of the existing human operator-based gas risk monitoring and alarm systemand of the proposed automated one are considered on the example of a dairy plant.
