Development of 100-Mbps OFDM modem for millimeter-wave broadband mobile access system

摘要

Millimeter-wave broadband mobile access is specified as a system mat can connect between a base-station and slow-moving mobile stations using millimeter-wave band. In such systems, high-bit-rate modem is desirable for various media transmissions. In this paper, we report the concept of the system, the access protocol, overview of the modem for aiming to obtain 100-Mbps transmission speed, and its static bit-error-rate performance. We can realize such a high bit-rate modem for using parallel digital-processing.
