摘要

Multiple Input Multiple Output method (MIMO) is a well known method to improve transmission capacity per hertz (Hz) by using multiple antennas for a broadband communication within a limited frequency bandwidth. While it is effective to increase communication capacity in proportion to the number of antenna under the multi path transmission environment, it is not effective under the direct path transmission environment (line of sight) in MIMO method. In this paper, we propose multi-point repeater system which consists of number of repeaters between a transmitter and a receiver. It is confirmed that the communication capacity is increased in proportion to the number of antenna under the direct path transmission environment. Further, transmission power control at repeater node is also investigated. A method to equalize received power at the receiver node shows the best performance comparing with other transmission power control method.
