摘要

In this paper, we propose an improved CDMA/PRMA protocol for integrated video/Voice/Data Transmission in packet-typed wireless networks. In the conventional CDMA/PRMA protocol, packet collisions occur frequently in high input load because of its basing on slotted-ALOHA. When video terminals with VBR traffic are introduced, they waste the channel capacity and them the system performance will be reduced considerably. To solve these problems and improve the system performance, we introduce three kinds of controls, i.e. the data packet continuous transmission control, Release/Regain control of reserved code for video terminal, and access priority control in our proposal protocol. We evaluate the performances of the improved CDMA/PRMA compared with the conventional CDMA/PRMA, and show the validity numerically.
